NCUT - How to Apply

Applicants, who meet the qualification as below, may apply directly to the Center of International Cooperation and Exchanges and ask for a Application Form of Foreign Students, or download Application Form from the homepage of North China University of Technology.

P.S.: Applicants, who apply for the Bachelor Degree Program or Master Degree Program will be with Chinese language Proficiency of HSK (band 3 for science courses and band 6 for liberal Arts courses).


Materials to be submitted

Chinese Language students
Application Form for Foreign Students to Study at North China University of Technology;
Last schooling certificate and schooling records (A copy and a original);
A copy of the applicant’s passport with photo page;
Two copies of your HSK report;

Undergraduate students
Application Form for Foreign Students to Study at North China University of Technology;
Last schooling certificate and schooling records (A copy and a original);
Two copies of your HSK report;
A copy of Band Six or above certificate of HSK examination

Graduate students
Application Form for Foreign Students to Study at North China University of Technology;
Last schooling certificate and schooling records (One duplicate and one original);
A copy of the applicant’s passport with photo page;
A copy of Band Six or above certificate of HSK examination

The certificates provided should be the original documents in Chinese or in English, otherwise notarized translations in Chinese or English are required.


Admission

Chinese Language students
After the application materials have been reviewed and approved by the Center of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the admission notice will be issued.

Undergraduate students
After the application materials have been reviewed and approved by the Center of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Those who apply for undergraduate program can be admitted if passing the entrance examinations held by the university. 

Graduate students
After the application materials have been reviewed and approved by the Center of International Cooperation and Exchanges, applicants will be required to take the entrance examination held by the University. Those who apply for graduate program can be admitted by the department of graduate studnets if passing the entrance examinations held by the university. 


Enrollment

The applicants admitted should bring Passport, Admission Notice, the Form of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and 8 pieces of 2 inches color photos. Students must register before the deadline at the Center of International Cooperation and Exchanges and get the Residence Permit within 30 days after they enter China.


Schooling System

Bachelor’s degree program: 4 years (five years for Architecture)
Master’s degree program: 3 years
Chinese Language student: No limit
