I. Tuitions

Refund:
1. Tuition paid by overseas students will not be refunded in the event of accident, injury, or other unforeseen  circumstances, but may be credited for study at a later date.
2. Students who choose to terminate their studies later than two weeks after the beginning of a semester (the  first Monday of classes), are not eligible for a refund.
3. A 10% commission is charged on any refund; all refunds are paid in RMB.

Application Fee:
Graduate Program: 400RMB
Undergraduate Program: 400RMB
Chinese Language Program: 400RMB
Short-term Language Program: 240RMB

II. Insurance
Students studying for more than a semester must have medical insurance covering injury as well as hospital treatment for diseases (including SARS). China Ping An Insurance Corp. provides group insurance for overseas students covering injury and hospitalization at a rate of RMB 600 for a year and RMB 400 for six  months.

III. Dormitory
On campus accommodation for overseas students is provided at the ‘Red Leave’ Building, which offers shared kitchens, laundry rooms, a library, a gym and bar services. All rooms are equipped with telephone, television and Internet access, as well as desks, closets, air-conditioners and private bathrooms. Accommodation charges are as follows:
1. Charges for Full-time Students
Sharing (two people): (bathroom, air-conditioner, television, telephone, Internet access), RMB 30 per day
Single Room: (bathroom, air-conditioner, television, telephone, Internet access), RMB 50 per day
(Note: Overseas students are given 80 kWh of free power usage per month)
2. Short-term Stay
Sharing (two people): (bathroom, air-conditioner, television, telephone, Internet access), RMB 40 per day
Single Room: (bathroom, air-conditioner, television, telephone, Internet access), RMB 80 per day

IV. Food:
Students will have access to student dinning halls with a meal card; the monthly food charge is about RMB 500 per person. There are also a variety of on-campus restaurants.

V. Other Charges:
Students have free access to outdoor basketball, volleyball and football facilities, but indoor basketball, badminton, swimming and tennis are charged at the same rate as for Chinese students. Free Internet access is provided at the library and computer room.
