3. Application Qualifications
Foreign citizens, in good health, a Master Degree in related courses.
HSK requirement: grade 6 or above（if taught in Chinese without remedial Chinese study.
4. Application Materials
1) Filled in “HEU Application Form for International Students”;
2) Passport photocopy;
3) HSK certificate: grade 6 or above.
4) 2 two-inch recent photos (3.5㎝×5.3㎝）without hat
5) The master academic certificate and degree diploma (notarized photocopy), with related Transcript of Academic Record of master (notarized photocopy).
6) Applicants overseas for doctorate degree studies must submit the letters of recommendation by two professors from the original university.
5. Application Procedure
1) Download “HEU Application Form for International Students”; fill in application form completely, and to send all the above materials to the International Students Section of International Exchange & Cooperation Office, HEU.
2) If you are accepted by HEU, we will send you an “Admission Notice” and “Visa application for Study in China” (JW202 Form).
3) With the materials mentioned above, applicants should apply for an X visa (student visa) in the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate. Please arrive at HEU and enroll on the prescribed date.

7. Certificate Granting
Students are required to complete the curriculum, fulfill the designated number of credits, complete the doctorate thesis and defend of it. Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the degree.
