1.Curricula:
Compulsory courses: Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese reading, Chinese writing, Chinese character reading and writing, Chinese conversation, etc.
Elective courses: HSK guidance（elementary & intermediate、advanced）, modern Chinese pronunciation, economic and trade newspapers reading, business spoken Chinese, Guzheng (zither), Tai Chi, etc.
2.Application Qualifications
the healthy foreign citizens above 16 years old.
3. Length of Schooling
one semester, which needs to complete the task of studying for 18 weeks, including 17 teaching weeks, a week for exams.
Spring Semester: from March to July
Autumn Semester: from September to January
4. Application Time:
Spring Semester: January 10th
Autumn Semester: July 30th
5. Application Materials
1) Filled in complete “ HEU Application Form for International Students”；
2) Passport photocopy;
3) 2 two-inch recent photos （passport-size）without hat；
6. Application Procedure
1) Download “HEU Application Form for International Students”, fill in application form completely, and to send all the above materials to the International Students Section of International Exchange & Cooperation Office, HEU.
2) If you are accepted by HEU, we will send you an “Admission Notice” and “Visa application for Study in China”（JW202 Form).
3) With the materials mentioned above, applicants should apply for the visa in the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate. Please arrive at HEU and enroll on the prescribed date.
7. Fee
Registration fee: 250yuan RMB
Long term：6100yuan RMB/semester
Mid-joining: 1650yuan RMB/month
Short-term
3 weeks: 1650yuan RMB; 4 weeks: 2100 yuan RMB
Adding one week, plus 450yuan RMB (Fee of textbooks extra)
8. Certificate Granting
If students pass all the examinations at the end of the studying, HEU will award a graduate certificate to the students.
